    Flayed Ones: Cheese or Cheap?

i cant really decide whether flayed ones r good.

at first i thought they were bad bcos of the way they look: they really should stop hanging around in the bins out the back of baptismal synagogues: but then i realized that they were pretty damn good, costing the same as warriors and getting 2 attacks. then i saw their abilities, and i thoght they were even better bcos ds/infiltrate/visage, visage especially. now ive noticed that other than attacks and initiative, they have the same stats as warriors and as such dont seem to b hugely good at being cc units. Then i realized they were necrons, and so would get back up again.

    please help!

I use um and they really good. They are cheap so you can have a squad of 12 for same price as warriors and still get 12 necrons they are very good in cc

well obviously destroyers kick, but i was thinking in the way of a cc support unit, or to massacre annoying tau battlesuits and things quickly.

anyway, they r in squads of 4-10.

if i put a lord with them, could he d/s from reserves with them?

    I would not say either.

They aren't cheese tahts for sure..

but not truely truely cheap, as they can get manhandled in hth.

Though all those abilities do provide tactical advantages that can tie up units, or even take out heavy weapon teams.

    They have their uses.

I use flayed ones whenever possible, as there great against low leadership troops sucah as guard. And with 2 attacks each, and can infiltrate or deep strike(if allowed in the mission), they are very versatile.

ahaha they were merely in the way, and i had nothing else to hit.

but scare? why would i be scared? I wouldn't have failed any ld checks.

plus my hth would be more superior.
now wahts better is.. infiltrating scorpions ^_^ but thats a whole different story.

Flayed ones take up elites choices that would otherwise be empty. I suppose they're ok.
