My sisters boyfreind is selling me his Necrons.
33 Necron Warriors
6 Scarab Swarms
I am going to buy a Necron Lord with my $42 and give him whats left, then pay him some more after. He wants to sell them for cheap.
I have a question though. In the Codex it says something about minimum number of warriors only until they can arrive through monolith or something. Does that meen minimum number of Squads or minimum squad size?
Also with the Veil of Darkness, is that a peice like the Res Orb or just a ability you dont need a physical part to represent?
1. I don't understand your first question.
2. The Veil of Darkness is wargear, so technically you are supposed to show it on him... but he's already wearing a robe right?
Anything that has been said above must be immediately
disregarded, as the high level of stupidity contained in every
word may cause you to drool on your computer thus causing
your own demise...
you know water+electricity= dead...-ness.
the monolith question is you have to have 2 squads of troops(ie warriors) on the table but if you have another troop choice they can be put in reserves and come through the monolith
but ya VoD is best represented by the robe he already wears so you're ok
I rarely hear anyone saying that Necron wargear has to be modeled, since most of it is "software" oriented except for the veil (already a robe) or the orb (which most people don't mind if you say it's inside the Lord).
This is probably because GW somehow decided not to sell the foot Lord with an Orb arm or Staff of Light (except the limited edition, no longer in sale)... It would force people who are conversion inept like me to try to figure out how to add those wargear if it were enforced. =)
