Sorry to make another thread so soon but... my army consists of the following, and I'm usualy facing a space marine army with 5 man termy squad (2 ass cannons) 1 assult squad with a chaplin with something that lets them reroll all to hits, and pred with 3 lascannon 1 twin linked, and a bit more *those are what usualy do the most damage against me though. Any tips? I'll also be facing tau soon. i'll probably take out the warscythe but yeah...
1 Necron Lord (HQ) @ 170 Pts
Gaze of Flame (his assulat squad always ended in cc with lord and a warrior/immortal squad and kicked his ass, so I though this could give me an advantage over him)
Phase Shifter (to try and live through a lasscannon shot)
5 Immortals (Elites) @ 140 Pts (usualy lined up behind my warriors)
10 Warriors (Troops) @ 180 Pts
10 Warriors (Troops) @ 180 Pts
2 Wraiths (Fast Attack) @ 82 Pts ( I send them in to hunt his assualt squad, they usualy do quite well, but eventualy always die)
3 Heavy Destroyers (Heavy Support) @ 195 Pts (take down his pred, and dread, and then try down his termies, but once my friend concentrates fire on them they usualy die very fast)
Heavy Gauss Cannon
1 Tomb Spyder (Heavy Support) @ 55 Pts (unfortunatly I accidentaly bought the model with the partical cannon , but also, I don't think i'm using the spyder right, cuz it never really does anything, except the wbb bonus, any tips?)
Phase Out at: 7
Models in Army: 32
Total Army Cost: 1002
I also have 4 pariah models and tried useing them once...lets just say i felt like i wasted 144 points
any help is appreciated

I would trade the heavy destroyers for destroyers they get to shot alot, and since you'll be playing tau, they'll be even better.
rethink your lord, if you need a CC one you'll need better than that, or simply give him the orb or VoD to secure quarters or simply create fire zone when you need them.
No orb on the lord OH MY! That should be the first thing you put on your lord, you dont have to worry about a lascannon shot because it is not double your toughness (5-9) you dont get insta killed, but leave the phase shifter there since it'll help him live through cc. Since your playing marines (but not charging the terminators) put the SoL (staff of light) on your lord to be able to negate the saves on the assault squad (ap 3 verses 3+ armor save) but dont shoot the termies since it doesnt negate their 2+ save.
The tomb spyder should be by your warrior squad or by a squad that you know is going to get into close comabt since it negates saves since it is a monstrous creature but drop the particale projector since it does not have a good Bs. This guy is very good against marine with its high toughness and strength, so marines without a powerfist is not going to be able to kill this thing in cc at all. (3 to hit 6 to wound for p weapons and reg cc attacks)
Try to split up the heavy destroyers to be able to shoot more shots at different targets per round. Since you also have a tomb spyder go 2 squads of 2 and 1 for the heavy d's. But you have to keep them close to be able to get a wbb role. Nothing in his army is going to be able to negate your wbb role for the heavy destroyers/tomb spyders because nothing in his army is strength 10 in shooting, and thats what he needs to not be able to get a wbb role. On the tomb spyder DO NOT!!! make scarab bases because of the majority toughness/majority save on the squad if you make just 1 scarab base. His toughness turns to 3 and his armor save turns to 5+ (not good)
I wouldn't use the pariahs(then again I've never used them) because they get no wbb role and they cost way too much. Does he deepstrike the terminators or walk them up?
If your going to use wraiths get a full squad of them to be able to get the most out of them. Ya you have to watch out for that assault squad, it's probably the most deadly thing agianst you.
I would get scarabs if i was you if you have them. They can be used as a speed bump against the assault squad (and any other squads except the termies) because of all those wounds. Plus they can even pop tanks if you want them too but against space marines I wouldnt.
Remember your lord CANNOT get shot if he joined a squad or there is a squad nearer to the enemy.
I'm not liking the small immortal squad but if they are behind the warriors they are fine. But in a regular game 5 immortals wont last under concentrated fire, remember that if all of them die to shooting you dont get no wbb role. But you have them hid behind the warriors squad so its ok.
Tell me all the models you have and I will help you make a good sm and tau fighting list.

so 1500 points huh? well lets see if i can get a good list up (using models you already have and some you SHOULD get)(idk the points but you can add/remove wherever you see fit)
Lord-SoL(your not going to see many inv. saves in sm armies just their leaders but a power weap should do) res orb, phase shifter, gaze of flame 180? 190? points something like that
Scarabs-8 (with or without df for tank popping goodyness, depends on your oppenent if he takes alot of tanks. DO NOT ASSAULT A DREAD WITH THESE GUYS they wont do anything....)
this is what you should get minimal i dont know how many points but it should be close to 1500 but if it isnt i would add 12 more warriors and/or 3 destroyers
make your wraiths seperate units to force the squads shooting at you to waste so many shots just to hit one (but still run them together). Like Zombiekiller had in theirs, take 4 hvy destroyers and put split them into 2 units. I dont know about the immortals in an army with this few troops I'd probably dump them and get some more troops. The only thing I'd say about your lord is no gaze of flame, I dont think it will help you enough.
