DO the kroot rifles really do anything in cc. I was reading the rules and I thought that it said you needed 2 cc weapons for an extra attack so what is the point of the rifles counting as a weapon in cc?
Kroot rifles beside being nearly as good to shoot as bolters count as an extra cc weapon( lasguns with bayonetts and marines with a bolter and a knife DON'T!). 2 attacks stationary, 3 on the charge can be pretty impressive in kroot sized units especially with str and ws 4. shame about the initiative.
HALO 2 - Sure those first few games where you wipe out the opposition with the rocket launcher, overshield and camoflage are fun but after a while you start looking for something more. Next it has to be death by plasma sword or sticky bomb, till pretty soon only clobbering your opponent with the butt of your rifle will do. The more difficult something is to do, the more fun it is when you pull it off. For IG players the word for this is Mobility
But kroot hounds have an Int. of 4 and they attack again if the unit tries to run away from them, so they are good and cheaper then the kroot
except that they don't shoot. Kroot shooting is valuable.
well the rifle is AP 6 so i cant see the valuable thing in that weapon..

Kroot shooting is valuable.
Kroot CC is valuable.
Everything about kroot is valuable when you account for how cheap they are.
So do kroot rifles grant an extra attack in cc or not??????????
