In a 1500 point battle, when using Ulthwe, i use a squad of 6. they mostly pick out heavy weapon squads, trying to pin a squad or really high toughness units.
i just wanted to know how many of them people use, how they use them, do you like them sorta deal.
I use seven in biel-tan. they and dark reapers are so good for fire support
I use five mostly, however I prefer squads of seven... seems to be a good number dice roll wise.
40K-Beakies(9-14-4),Guard(4-7-2),Orks(34-12-11). FANTASY-Dwarves(15-6-7),Beasts (14-14-1), Skaven (17-17-10) DoC (6-1-2). CYGNAR (28-15-1)
I never use them for biel-tan, but when I'm playing vanilla, I use 3 squads of 3 for pinning.

Squads of three are good for points filler, expendible and infltrate. They do have a low chance of killing somthing though.
Squads of 5-6 are what i normally use if i have points left over. They normally kill one model but i have never pinned anyone in 2 yrs of playing eldar :o .
me myself i use squads of 6 or 7 because they have a good chance at taking out those tough oppenents also they can pin down those pesky heavy support. plus i find that a bigger squad has always worked better for me than a 2 smaller ones.
