Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hi, i'm a necron player but my friend (orks) wants to get some warrior sprues off me because he wants some cyborks. He is planning to use arms and legs etc. from my necrons, to replace limbs cut off his 2nd edition orks (they're the horny choppa-y ones aren't they?). to make cyborks. i personally think this would look awful; the proportions would be all wrong (ork arms being about twice the size of necron arms etc.). i think he should green stuff his existing arms to bulk them out and make tham a bit squarer, then paint them metallic ly. he could do this with legs, or even heads, as well.
please try and persuade him not to steal my necrons!
your green stuff idea wouldn't work, no offence. Ork mechanikal bits aren't all square, they're all open and you can see all the wiring and stuff. Anything using 2nd Ed orks will look cr*ppy too IMO!
Necron bits will look bad too, I would suggest using bits of paper clips stuck together as a limb, and bits off the killa kan wire/ extra gubbinz metal sprue, but I doubt that would look any good either..

the necron idea wont work unless you put a lot of time and effort into it, and i mean a lot
think of the Space marines, only more ... orky! try to find a metal bar or 2 and put them together , but check to see that they look good first.
