I am considering using O'shovah as my HQ choice...I dont use gun drones, ethereals, or kroot(savages!! :p ). But the codex mentions something about stealth teams, pathfinders, hammerheads and broadsides being 0-1...what does this mean...i searched the main codex for it and couldnt find anything...also...any recommendations on O'shovah himself?
This means basically you can take 1 Stealth team max, 1 Pathfinder team Max, 1 Hammerhead Max etc.
Remember as well that Farsight armies can take 'Ork Fighter', but never give it to any unit other than battlesuits, giving it to HQ teams is probably the best idea. Giving it to Firewarriors is a classic fools mistake.
My advice is that a Farsight army can be extremely effective against foes like Space Marines. Do not though, and I cannot stress this enough, do not use him in more than about 1000 - 1300 points. After 1000 points his limitations on your army start to hurt you and you can no longer make a decent army list. Other advice is pretty much what Addoran said, so I wont go into it.
I don't use special characters cos then it feels like your playing with someone else's army. No special characters=more freedom

It's the 0-1 Hammerheads that really kills it. I'm liable to take two Hammerheads even in very small lista.
Actually, O'shavah really is not worth it. I was going to have him as my commander, but then i did the math. His points cost is WAY too many points for what he has. On top of that, he really restricts your options... i have decided to wait for the rules to come out for the forge world suits, to make a really bad ass shas'o commander. Right now, i just have a regular shas'el crisis.
