Itz mega. And dats da way it shud be- dont nunofyouz forgettit!
i've just realised: what is the point in a choppa and a power klaw on the Boss?
the power claw negates armour saves anyway, and so wouldn't it be better to give him some sort of shooting capability? pistols count as extra cc weapons, don't they?
The difference is that the Choppa doesn't strike at Initiative 1.Originally Posted by Tunisia
plus you can then use the PotW to full affect with a more or less powerweapon wannabe
i wasn't actually paying attention during the game (i was the tin'ead player), if he takes a choppa does that mean he doesn't strike at In1?
if so, then wouldn't a pistol do the same??
ich bin sehr regenbogen!
You can only use one weapon in a round of combat and the abilities of weapons do not stack. Attacks with the Power Klaw always strike at Initiative 1. Attacks with the Choppa strike normally and do not gain the Strength or Power Weapon benefits of the Klaw.Originally Posted by Tunisia
If you take a pistol, I'm not sure if you can decide to use it instead of the Klaw in close combat. . . Even assuming you can, it doesn't have the armour reducing benefits that the Choppa has.
btw there aren't 8 TMC's in the nid army- just 2. HT and OOE. you can only have 8 TMCs in one FOC in the new codex.
rly? I couldve sworn that warriors were tmcs.Originally Posted by Tunisia
If you have a PK, you can shoose to attack normally at normal initiative instead, but you don't get the benefits of the PK
So if you have a choppa as well, you can either attack at Int 1 as a PK, or at Int 5 as a choppa attack. You still get the plus 1 attack too.
