i have friends and hes is new to this game and he has started necrons. And he keeps asking me what would help him win battles. do you guys have any ideas
hes got a few models ATM. hes trying to make a 2000point army
2 lords (he lost 1 and brought another) it can be useful.
and 5 immortals
should i tell him to get 3 wraiths, 2 tomb spiders 3 destroyers a Monolith maybe and 3 heavey destroyer
i dont know much about them except for there high point cost, WWb rolls and phase out (luv that rule) :p
i don't agree.Originally Posted by ReaverRider
he has at the moment a pretty rounded force, basically he needs to expand into destroyers first, then heavies, possibly max out the immortals, and eventually a monolith.
a battleforce would be a good idea: give him some destroyers and enough warriors for a pretty good 2k list.
Buy 2 battle forces and a destroyer lord.
That'll give him 62 warriors, which is the most you'll ever want to field. (I field 56 regularly)
6 Destroyers, 2 min squads or 1 max.
10 Scarabs, Cause they're REALLY good.
And a destroyer lord, because they're GREAT.
Then max out immortals, get heavy Ds, maybe flayed ones or spyder or two.
And finally, a monolith.
so less models so less points
anyway hes maybe getting a battle force but he wants a monolith. whuch makes it easier for me to phase him out
