    WWP Dilemma

Well having played a few games I find that using incubi and WWP are just a LOT of points.
Given that the WWP carrier units usually hit the 250 points each I don't know what to drop.
What would you do for 1500 points, don't go WWP or drop the incubi, drop both maybe?

    Cheers

Drop the incubi...they're just too expensive.

Ask 50 people, you'll get that many different answers. Unless you are running more than 5-6 Incubi, I'd drop the WWPs. I just don't find them (WWPs) necessary in games smaller than 1850 unless there is little to no terrain on the board.

2 replies 1 each way. Go figure.
Looking for a compliment here is like looking for a girlfriend in a cemetary. You know you probably won't like what you dig up, but you'll take it anyway.

Well I will give some details of my list.
    Beginning in the table.
    -3x sniper squads 300(100)
    -2x 15 warriors 2 blasters and a sybarite with p.blades, haywires and WWP 406 (203)
    Reserves inside the WWP
    -1x talos 100
-9x wyches 2 blasters and 1 succubus with agonizer s.pistol, everybody with wych weapons and plasma grenades. Mounted in a raider with dissie and horrorfex. 243
-1 Archon with jetbike, shadow field, combat drugs, trophy rack, tormentor helm and plasma grenades. 178
-1 Dracon with agoniszer, s.pistol, combat drugs with a retinue of 5 incubi everybody with p.nades mounted in a raider. 273

Well, the tactic is simple I deploy the WWP as nearer as possible to the enemy and the CC units pop up to kill whatever.
    Now, what will you sacrifice?

Your list comes out to 1500 pts, including the WWPs.
Why do you need to sacrifice aything?
Are you finding your list under powered?

It looks like a good list, 70+ models. 5 Incubi is a good number.
I think the Archon could probably start out on the board. I find the Sybarite WWP deployment doesn't happen until turn 3 (on a 4x8 table) and you could get some good use out of the Archon in turn 2.

    I don't use WWP unless it's a 2000+ point game.

Well I just use the WWP list for the impact it provokes on the oponents to see 60 models starting at the table and then, when I open de WWP those deadly CC units. Without the portal those CC units would be the first target of my opponent so..
My list have proved to be good against everything except a clever guy using a vindicare assasin, he killed 1 of my sybarites and after that he concentrated all his firepower on the other carrier squad (basilisk and so).
Well i'd like to read more opinions about that topic.
    Cheers
