I am interested in Orks at the moment, as I would like to come up with a shooting army (orks could be deceptively good at shooting!) either feral orks with lots huntas, or bad moons with flash gits with More Dakka, and 4 big shootas or burnas.
Any tips or suggestions in acheiving such a goal?
Speed phreak army.
Bikes, tracks and evan trukz for the boyz, loads of gunz!
Yeah Speed Freeks is the most competitive army orks have, but they are getting far too common (amongst orks of course) for my tastes, and I would like to try another clan if possible.Originally Posted by Marlinspike

If you want a shooty Ork army, then definitely go with Bad Moons. If you look up their clan rule online (using the link provided in the Getting Started With Orks article) you will see that they are the definition of shooty in an Ork army. They are so shooty, that I might even get some. (That's a powerful statement considering how much I despise the pathetic Ork armour save).
Shields of the Emperor SMs (in the making)
Nurgle IG AC/Grenadiers
Remember, give people rep if they help you.
For a shooty ork army I'd say feral orks, if you don't like them then take kroot mercenary allies, they're shoot and good in combat too but may be considered unorky.
Can Ork Bodygaurds just be comprised of Docs or Mekboyz or do you have to have the 5+ Nobz first? Ive got a fluff idea for my warband that requires the boss having a doc and a mek on constant standby (he's got a lot of bioniks after his gargant got smashed by eldar, true story from an old epic campaign).
Does it Hurt? How about now?
all right, I'll try again later with a bigger hammer.
That link is not working for me.
