theres nothing going on much in the dark eldar forum, so i made this threat.
i want to know what colour schemes people use for there army?
mine is hawk turquoise body, head, glove and boots. the thing underneathe it is black, dont know what is it called its the area thats not the armour. guns are black with silver blades and barrel thing.
wyches: armour is black with hawk turquoise trimming around the armour. elf flesh skin. black hair with shadow grey highlights.
i would show you's but i dont have batteries for my camera because my perants lost them.
Red Gore is the predominant color of mine. Raiders and squads are color coded to each other for ease of identification.
Fits int with the name also: Kabal of Gore.
Mine have enchanted blue armor with the rest being black. Purple is used for elites and bone is used for commanders. For flesh I use bleached bone as it gives a nice pale and dark feel.
High Elves (BloodBowl)
Warseer Blood Bowl League
i did use bleach bone for my male lords face, but i use the female lords more. i give her a felf flesh and a bit of white skin tone
Mine are prodominantly Scab Red with Silver helmets/weapons. The Raiders are scab red to but with different colour scythes/dissie/dark lance according to the squad attached to them. The colours are dark and broody just how I like it
I have greying skin on my Hemies, fortress grey blending into skull white highlights, with a deep purple of deep blue cloak/clothing.
Reavers are the same colour scheme as the raiders with different colours added to the weapons if i'm brave enough to field a larger army with more than one squad.
I like my HQ to stand out so my Lord is done again in a dark colour, green or brown but with white armour/weapons to add some contrast. Unfortunatly I'm not adventurous with my 4 incubi, They are black&white with Red undergarments. what can i say, i love that colour scheme it works so well.
Thats my lot
black with hawk turqiose trim on head, legs, helmets etc.
the spikes (which must be extra attached) and the gun are brazen brass with golden highlights
A mix of the old Regal blue with Mithril Silver. That covers the whole model, then the eyes are done Blood Red and blades are done with Chaingun Metal. HQ blades are Shining Gold. But my current Archon is a Dark Elf Assassin (the one with the cloak over his body) so he's pretty much all black.
R U 0K!??!? BUHHHHST WUUUULFFFFF!!!
bright pink with black undersuits.. anthing that i could dream would be made out of pleather got a high gloss varnish coat, spikes and guns were painted gunmetal/silver while armor accents are done up in gold
i figured they're practically slaaneshi eldar.. they might as well dress like it
My warriors are red gore with a wash of puple ink for the bodies. mithril silver helmets with a broze wash and finaly goblin green hair drybushed with ultra marines blue. Black guns with a drybush of blotgun metal just to pick out the edges. if you do the armour right it looks like their suits are covered in wet blood, but it doesn't look too garish.
Incubi are nomal, black armour, bleached bone masks and gold weapons.
The few Wyches that I haveare also painted black with skin painted with a mix of elf flesh and bleached bone with black hair. and my raiders are painted the same as my warriors.
To rule in Hell is only the beginning...
I paint my dark eldar with Snot Green then a wash it with black ink, then highlight with snot green, then another hgihlight with a mix of Goblin Green and Snot Green. The weapons are just plain silver
The jetbikes are straight black with highlights but the rider is painted the way i said above, the same goes with the wyches and their raider, the wyches are green and the raider is black
