Well if any of you guys have the imperial armour update you might have seen the interesting tau heavy gun drones a new heavy support choice which seemed very interesting seeing that it could only boast a twin-linked burst cannon at 25 points with no other options for actual ''heavy weapons.'' Plus for 5 points more than the heavy gun drones you could afford a stealth suit which is has the same weapon but a better save a the crazy stealth suit ability. In its description it tells you that other heavy weapons have also been mounted on these larger drones but it gives no options to field such other drones. So I took it upon myself to revise the forge world heavy drone to what it is here:
Heavy Gun Drones
(As seen in Imperial Armour:Update)
Squadron: A squadron numbers from 4-10 drones and optionally 1 Tau Fire Striker
Equipment: Each drone is armed with twin-linked burst cannons.
Options: Any drone may replace one of its burst cannons with a markerlight for free.Any drone may replace both of its burst cannons for 1 of the twin-linked weapons in the following list which also lists the price of the change:
Plasma Rifle...............20 pts
Fusion Blaster.............15 pts
Missle Pod..................18 pts
The squadron my also include a TAu Fire Striker at 25 pts with the following stats: -----------------------Pts/model----WS----BS----S----T----W----I----A-----Ld.----Sv.
Tau Fire Striker----------25---------2------3-----3----4----2-----3--1(2)----7------3+
Equipment The Tau Fire Striker is armed with a pulse carbine and a Plas-torch which can be used as a close combat weapon(+1 Attack) The Tau Fire Striker is equipped with a drone controller that controls the whole squadron , no matter how big or small it is.The Tau Fire Striker is alsoequipped with a tau jet pack. The Tau Fire Striker is equipped with Tau jetpacks and can use these to Deepstrike as described in the het pack wargear entry in Codex:Tau
Technology Mastery: Once at the end of the turn you may roll 1 D6 and on a roll of 5+ you may return one drone that has been destroyed this turn with 1 wound.
Targetting array: If the Tau Fire Striker is ibcluded in a drone squadron all drones in the drone squadron may take a targetting array(+1 BS) at +5 pts. All drones must take this upgrade if 1 chooses to.
Jetpack:Drones are equipped with Tau jetpacks and can use these to Deepstrike as described in the het pack wargear entry in Codex:Tau
Heavy Support:a Heavy Gun Drone squadron is a heavy support choice for a tau army.
Independant: A Heavy Gun drone squadron has its processors linked to enable it to have the capacity for independant action. They are programmed for self-preservation and take Leadership tests normally. It their numbers are reduced to less than five their leadership drops to 4. If a Tau Fire Striker is attached to the heavy gun squadron than this doesn't apply an the squadron takes all Leadership test at the normal Leadership value of 7.

Dude, this really violates forum rules, delete everything and type in bad post, mod please delete this thread. Otherwise you may get suspended. This is only if this info is from a GW/FW published rulebook/codex
Three Companies of the 26th Vinancium
143rd Airborne Badgers (99.9% done)
159th Corsair Rifles (35% done))
69th Armored Wall Busters (95% done)
Total 197 men, 12 tanks, 4 Heavy Artillery Pieces
It aint illegal if you make it up, but you may want to get rid of of the forgeworld stats...
Otherwise brilliant idea!!!
