Welcome to Librarium Online!
I haven't had a chance to see the new codex yet (curse my west coast stores never getting in new stuff!) and was wondering what if any changes had been made to the mutation rules from before?
Is it still the same as before? / altered? / destroyed?
Mutable Genus is entirely gone. However, the list of options that a model may be given is somewhat extended from the the old codex. Indeed, from what I've read on this forum it seems that some units are almost as customizable as Mutable Genus allowed.
the "create your own hivefleet" rules have been made into the basic armylist, so nearly all units can be morphed in the roll you want them to be

Mutable Genus has changed into just upgrades for each unit, but Mutations themselves (Hive Nodes, Weapon Beasts, Exceptional Size) are all gone.
