Welcome to Librarium Online!
about how many warriors do you think i would need for up to 2000 pts?
i have 44 ATM (48 if i do some conversions: see my post 'Conversion ideas- freee warriors!')
i think that this isnt quite enough for all the way to 2000, but how many do everyone else use?
40, 2 Units of 20 is enouph unless you already own a Monolith. If you do I dont suggest buying more anyway.Originally Posted by Tunisia
I only ever play 1500 point games with my Necrons, but I use 30 Warriors. 44 in 2000 points sounds good (11 man squads I assume), so long as you support them with other "Necron" units (Immortals/FOs/Destroyers) to beef up your Phase out number.

Depends, if you're doing a normal army, probably about 10 for every 500 points. If you're doing a themed army, then most likely a minimal number of warriors, and if you have any points left over, then pump them into warriors.
Like me, I'm doing a Destroyer themed army, so I'd go for as many Destroyers as I could pump into it, a Lord, and 2 squads of 10 Warriors. Then, on top of that, maybe 1 or 2 Heavy Destroyers, and any and all points I have left over just get pumped into more Warriors (generally maybe 2).
on the other hand, if you're going for a legion themed army, you'll have a significantly higher percentage, maybe 10 for every 300-400pts or so
