ok i was making some army lists earlier and was reading some threads.
and i was wondering do cron armies work better warrior heavy or destroyer heavy???
It really depends. You need at least two core units of 10 warriors to field a legal army, which is a fair amunt to start with. It really depends on the size of the battle. I usually field only 20 in battles of 1200 points or less. I always, always include at least 3 destroyers (they always take out their point value).
A destroyer heavy army is definitely a way to go, but the more you have, the more you might find your opponents whining about the possible cheese that some claim them to be. You can take up to 15 of them, in three units. 5 destroyers is usually enough to take out any medium sized unit it is up against (with shooting, that is.) when it comes to combat, you might be in trouble, though, because of their single attack. Even with a destroyer heavy army, you'll still field 20 warriors, which are always good to fall back on.
It's really up to you. If you want to try and keep the enemy from getting anywhere near your troops, and prefer long-range tactics, destroyers are the way to go. Just don't forget your phase out count. It might be easier to reach it when you field less models.
well i don't like to play battles less than 1500pts
so i was wondering how mnay warriors i should field

Honestly, just take about 10 Warriors for every 500pts you have... Thats the rule I always go by and works pretty well for me.

Necron armies work best when you have many different kinds of units supporting one another.
Having a whole lot of any kind of unit, aside from Warriors, will leave you open to one of the Necrons' weaknesses.
Take, for example, the Flayed Ones: their Terrifying Visage ability won't come into play unless the opponent's leadership is lowered, which is where the Pariah's Soulless ability comes in. At this point, a Necron Lord with the Gaze of Flame or the Nightmare Shroud, or the Deceiver can effectively exploit that reduced leadership, further helping the Flayed Ones. That's three (or four) units working effectively in tandem, like components of a machine.
Also, the generally accepted Rule of Thumb is that you should have at least ten Necron Warriors per 500 points of game size. In percentage terms, your list should be no less than 36% Troops choices.
WHFB: Dwarfs || WH40k: Imperial Fists, Necrons || WM/H: Trollbloods || BFG: Necrons
a good list would be
lord res orb veil
then basically wat ever you want. just keep in mind that youll need scarabs to act as a counter assult squad to cover those 20 warriors

I want everyone to remeber why they need us!
I've found warriors work better in units of 10 than in units of 20.
1 unit of 20 can take a lot of damage and pour out a lot of fire, but it's stuck firing at one unit a round.
2 units of 10 can pour the same amount of fire power into a single enemy, and can also fire on 2 units (like if the first 10 shots destroy the vehicle/wipe out the unit, the other 10 can still shoot). They also provide cover for each other (forces Ld tests) and make for more targets on the field.

yea i was thinking along the lines of 2x13 man squads and 1x14 man squad so i can have freedom and cover for eachother in a 2000pt game
but i luv the look and feel of destroyers they are highly mobile and they have lots of shots if in 3+man squads
it would also give me a way to funnel my enemy to my warriors if i had lots of destroyers
i dont like pariahs at all they are very expensive for what they do and flayed ones are decent but i was thinking of wraiths as my cc to back my warriors up or they can lead an assault for my destroyers
can any of you guys give me general tactics for crons?
