When deep striking the Raider/Ravager via screaming jets do you measure from just the base of the model, or any part of the model to determine if the Raider/Ravager is too close to an enemy model and hence destroyed?
What would destroy a Raider/Ravager if it scattered? Would a bunch of trees, or a forest destroy a raider, as an example? Another example would a Raider/Ravager be destroyed if it scattered onto difficult terrain, or impassible terrain (like lava)?
Besides Sentinels and Monoliths, I don't think any other race can deepstrike a vehicle, so this problem is unique really to only the Sentinels and the Raiders/Ravagers, as the monolith is pretty much immune to the scatter/destroyed scenario.
Measure from the hull of the vehicle. The base is on skimmers to signify that they are flying. Skimmers no longer have to take difficult terrain tests if you claim they are hovering. However, if you do this then anyone with a weapon that has range is considered to have LOS.
Im new to DE so i was wondering where does it say a Raider can deep strike?
