Is there any way that i can cast or mold my own rending claws. Preferablre cheeper methods.
Looks like the rules now state we can't talk about casting or molding anymore.

if you dont mind plaster or resin, you can buy a fricken bucket of liquid plaster or liquid resin, and all you need to do is made a mold of the arms, you can either use modle making stull, like from train stores, or you can even use green stuff, then one the mold or green stuff is dry carfully cut it in half or separrate the mold you made, and you can them poor in plaster or resin, and repeart process untill you enough, its really not that hard one you find all the stuff you need.
What do you what to represent it on?Because you dont HAVE to represent it always.Say for your gaunts you dont have to represent it on them if you give them rending claws.
um but for organized tourny play do all models have to be wysiwyg
Im gona want to show claws on most of my models. Warriors, raveners,Tyrant. all the good stuff
Not all things. Some upgrades dont have to be represented on the modelsOriginally Posted by fogogrego
is it worth puting rending claws on a flying tyrant or is it better to get the second set of talons?
If you don't also use Acid Maw, the Rending Claws will statistically give you a better chance at dealing more wounds to a model with equal Toughness to your Tyrant's Strength. If you do use Acid Maw, then Rending will only really help when you need a 6+ to wound the target. In both cases, when the enemy's Toughness is less than the Tyrant's Strength, two sets of Talons is always better.
Scything talons are way more useful. You get more attacks and you always penetrate armor with a tyrant.
