Welcome to Librarium Online!
Has it ever been done, if only for comedic value?
With only metal blisters of Grots, it would be expensive without converting LOTS of Fantasy Goblins or hunting on E-bay for 2nd ed Space Grots. About 360 dollars for cruddy models. I'll pass.
I'm at 170 plastic grotz now...gonna buy 10 more and try it. If they all fit on the table, that is.
All I can say is, good luck painting them...
The OOP Grots are low-detail, and can be painted fairly quickly with 1 layer of highlights (almost all of which could by drybrushed). Just need to mass paint doing 6-8 at a time, and spread it out over a few days.Originally Posted by Forecast

Won't they come out as nurglings then?
Slap a little gun on a Gnoblar from the new Ogre Kingdoms stuff and you'd be all set, right? Even the little dude that is sitting ontop of another guy could be your Slaver master, right?
I guess that would all depend on where you're going to find 180 little guns...

It would be funny, sure, but the problem is, that grots have a hard time killing... anything... in... any sort of fighting- those 600 points would buy you six slavers of killing power, and not a lot else!
