x2 pairs of Scything Talons on a Carni?

Does this sound like a feasable thing to accomplish? I also plan to give it Spine Banks, Regeneration, Tusked Maw, Toxin Sacs and Toxic Miasma. Basically a CC Death Machine. If not the second Scyth Tals, what about Rending Claws? The Crushing Claws just don't appeal to me, as the thought of 1-in-6 having 1 attack to 6 attacks. I'd like a nice number that won't change. Thoughts anyone?

I say the best 'fex is a cheap 'fex. Nothing like having your opponent fire all of his guns into a 96 point carnifex. But then again, I don't use any guns on my 'nids.

I was thinking of the cheapo 'Fex, but that as well didn't appeal to me. I'd like him decked out to the 9's mostly for shock value. Seeing some lubering badass will surely lead some fire over. And with a 2+ save and Regen, hopefully should have a long life-span. Hopefully enough enough to get by Stealers in the fray to hamper the enemy while my Scy Tal and Rending Tal Warriors rush in for the kill. How have Crushing Claws worked out for any players out there? Are they worth the fluctuating ammount of attacks?

If you want an expensive cc fex try this out: carnifex + acid maw + adrenal glands (I and WS) + bonded exoskeleton + extended caraspace + implant attack + reinforced chintin + mace tail + tusked + toxin sacs + scything talons (2 sets) = 206. Not bad eh? All it needs is a name....
You call those cheap implants boobs?
    They aren't boobs, they're lies!

If your lucky enough to have a large number of players near you that play assault armies then go for it, I have done it myself.

Ah,well....my usual opponents are a Guard guy who has special weapons teams like there's no tomorrow. The other guy is also Guard, but he's Mr. Armoured Column. If I keep my boys in cover out of LoS they should be able to advance realtivley unscathed. Can anyone tell me about how FoC works? In my ability to buy the new Battleforce I was not able to get the 4th Ed Rulebook. Thanks for the advice everyone!

Sorry, you'll have to get the rule book as it's illegal to post stats on the forum.

For fleet of foot you roll a dice in the shooting phase and you then move that far in inches. Doing fleet takes away your shooting for that unit so it's best for CC gaunts. Should be very useful against your imp guard opponents.
