Selling nids, trying to figure out value

I was curious if anyone on here had sold an army before, how they did so, and what did they ask, I have a fully painted and flocked tyranid army 3rd edition models

    2 Tyrants
    8 Warriors
    3 Lictors
    3 Raveners
    3 biovores
    3 zoanthropes
    and like 30-50ish gaunts

Any ideas what I should be asking for, and where I should sell it

If you're selling them on eBay, figure the cost for buying all the minis and double it. Most auctions I see on eBay seem to do this with painted armies.

Previously-owned figures go down in value, even if they are painted/flocked (unless you're a Rogue Trader-level painter).

You should be extrememly happy if you break even selling your used minis. I'd suggest you start your auction at about half the price of its new value.

I agree. It's a shame but you CANNOT expect to get back all the time/money/effort you put into an army. If that were the case then all the armies on ebay would be selling for 1000's of dollars. About half the price would be a good idea. Hopefully someone will bid over it. Always try to put up pics! You'll get more customers that way.

Yeah i agree you should halve the value of its rrp then sell it for that amount.Though saying that it depends on how well they are painted. If they are really well painted then the value will shoot up alot but if they are badly painted then you might not get that much.Do you have any pics?

I finally have pictures up, and put it on ebay, to look at the pictures just go to http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5216693657, let me know if 160 is too much of a starting price
