I got nothing against Eldar. Their strength is how they are a very versatile army, that can be powerful when mobile or static, and can be very effective in close combat or shooting.

i love seting up and then using my speed of the falcons and vypers to turbo boost to the other side of the table for a flank attack.

My favourite things about the Eldar are, in order:
Fluff-we totally own every other race when it comes to fluff!
    Fire Dragons
    Howling Banshees
Falcon, Fire Prism- undoubtably the most beautiful tanks in the game!
Starcannon- suitable candidate for, "40K's most useful weapon"
    the models themselves
    Biel-tan craftworld
    D-cannons
    Vibro cannons
"You're very interesting, and very perceptive. So interesting, and so perceptive, in fact, that we shall now fight with KNIVES!"
    -Moltar

"I've been dead long before you were born, and I'll be dead long before you'll be dead!"

What I love about the eldar is the Alaitoc Ranger disruption rolls

Put that heavy weapon squad in reserve please
    and that one
    and pin that one.

    You can go first
"Ah.. i'm almost done with these 3rd quater spreadsheets and still no sign of.."
    "What, is up, my dog?"
    "Ughhh I'm not your dog"
"Waterman, you crack me up! that's why you're my D-O-G-E"
"Your Doge? What are you talking about? I'm Strong Bad Waterman works in retial shipping resources"
"Ah-ha Good one waterman, I mean good one MY DOG"

lol? the other statements were kinda correct (except the banshees, if you're unlucky with the 5+) anyway, 10 scorpions is easily beaten by guardsmen, just have junior officer with powerweapon and 15 guardsmen and you'll beat them in 2 turns...

    You have to be kidding!
Part of the reason scorpions are up there with the fluff and falcons for me is that they are one of the premier light infantry killers in the game, even without the charge or pistol fire scorpions effectively get 3 attacks faster than all but a few HtH warriors, combined with a potentially re-rollable power armour save they will hold anone without serious power weapon attacks till the end of the earth.
Gaunts, guard, guardians, scouts, cultists, stormtroopers, tau are all meat for the scorpion blender, i just love throwing them into overwhelming number of these troops and watching them hack their way out the other side.
    Plus they can infiltrate!!!!
Ask not a question of the eldar, for they will give you three answers all of which are true and horrifying to know.

To give you guys something to think about, i played against eldar and his scorpions took out two squads of guardsmen in two turns.
(He then charged my HQ and lost, I was in cover ^_^ )

If I played eldar i would get SS right away I think they're awesome.

    howling bannashes are cool too
