I was wondering, what do you guys think about Harliquins as an ally to your Eldar army? I know I play Biel-Tan and I was checking it out and I spotted the Solitaire. I decided to see equipment and stuff and now I want one, though it is expensive. At a whopping 153 points here's what I was thinking for the Solitaire's equipment:
Enemy models will need to hit him (in cc) on 6's, if he kills a model with his pistol, it will deal a blast on the model with a str of the model's toughness and an ap of the model's save. He charges 12", ignores terrain, can move 3d6 extra inches (can possibly move 36" (including charge)), has power weapons, and on 6's he auto-kills multi-wound models if they miss their invulnerable save (including the Nightbringer!!!). What do you think? Worth it or no?
Just remember that as they are experimental rules, you need your opponent's permission, and people have a tendency to yell cheese when they see Harlequins
Personally I'm more partial to Powerblades & Kiss over Riveblades, because they give you an extra attack. Then again I'm also more partial to the Shadowseer.

Damn, forgot about the asking for permission, well I'm thinking of buying the Harlie anyways and if I can use it...well I put it in, if I can't, well I don't. I'll just write two lists, one /w Harlie and one w/o Harlie, did the same for my GK army. Besides, in fun battles at friend's houses, what they don't know about the experimental rules and asking won't hurt them .
OK harles in generaly tend to get called cheese, anyone charged by a full on solitare does not tend to be around long enough for dairy products to develop in that manner!
Solitares are by far the most lethal component of Harlequins, but will have all and sundry crying foul.
So do you think it would be better not to use him in friend battles? My friend's are slight power-gamers, one always wants to win in 2v2 (b/c he can't win against me in 1v1 ) the other alters his list all the time depending on who he is playing so he has the advantages. The Harlie would sure help against my CSM friend as I need to get to his havocs fast. He normally takes two squads of 10 Havocs!!!, then 4x lascannons in one and 4x ML's in the other, then a squad of 11 daemons (bloodletters), sometimes a Bloodthirster, sometimes he will take Kharne Bezerkers isntead of something else, two 5x man squads for troops, and a 205pt. Daemon Prince in his 1500 battles.
P.S.- I have re-checked the Harlie codex and I even looked in the Harlequin "de-cheese house" thingy thread in the Harlequin section. I only see that you have to ask your opponent to use HQ choices and I'm using an Elite choice, so I don't believe I have to ask for permission to use a Solitaire. I could be wrong but where did you see that I had to ask for permission to use Harlequins?
