Welcome to Librarium Online!
i know I don't play Alatoic or anything and I don't really know much about them but, after looking at some Alatoic lists I am pondering one thing. What is the difference between a Pathfinder and a Ranger?
Apart from the fact that one is Tau and one is Eldar?
Both Eldar in this case.Originally Posted by Revlid

Ranger = Troops
Eldar Pathfinder = Elites (with slightly better stats IIRC)
Oh alright thanks, sorry, wasn't asking for stats I was asking for which goes where. I should have been more specific. Thanks though .
How do you convert your pathfinders to be diffrent from the rangers? I paint mine diffrent, but I would really like to do some real conversion.
I'm sure there's a joke in this thread somewhere?
Q: What's difference between a ranger and a pathfinder?
Answers on a postcard please, here's one to start you off,
a pathfinder never relied on getting rations they confiscated from pic-er-nic baskets that Yogi Bear stole from people... really what kind of message was he sending to kids
as for the paint job, you could try making special cloaks to reflect their better cover save
"Ah.. i'm almost done with these 3rd quater spreadsheets and still no sign of.."
"What, is up, my dog?"
"Ughhh I'm not your dog"
"Waterman, you crack me up! that's why you're my D-O-G-E"
"Your Doge? What are you talking about? I'm Strong Bad Waterman works in retial shipping resources"
"Ah-ha Good one waterman, I mean good one MY DOG"
Overall pathfinders are just better than rangers, the extra pionts fo a better weapon and cloak, ect are well worth it
But if your low on pionts you can always take some kroot with hunting rifles at 8 pts plus shaper
