Is it worth the 2 points per model to put flesh hooks on a brood of GS? It keeps them from getting shot up when assaulting cover. Plus it lets them scale walls and such.

Just as the sun cannot be prevented from rising,
Neither can the inevitable be halted or avoided.
Hive Fleet Infernus shall scorch all worlds in its path.
I think it would be worth it.....But to bad I don't have the parts for the conversions!! IF I did, I'd convert them.....
It depends. In a normal fight, I just do not know. However, if you are doing something like siege or a cityfight, then they are gold. Nothing like watching a brood run up the side of a building.
I'd look to them in situations when you are going to need the abilities that the flesh hooks impart. When you know that you might be storming defensive lines or battling through city rubble. I eventually plan on making a brood of Genestealers with flesh hooks, but that is a ways down the line.
Tyranids: Hive Fleet Kohr-Ah
That would be sweet!! Genestealers with Flesh hooks climbing up the buildings like *****ing Spiderman!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Lets go Stealers!!
heh heh, sounds like a pretty good idea, but in city fight has any one ever had the problem with genestealers being too wide for normal corridors, obviously u can pick em up to go through doors, but with corridors that the models dont fit through but if they were alive te creatures would, what do you do?
You could always convert them =).
