ok i just bought the new tyrant looks very kool and i wanted to know if u would be able to have scything talons and the sword and whip on him or not im a complete newbie to nids so i dnt know.
Yeah, thats perfectly legal, and it looks good, too.
ta mate just wanted to make sure before i attached them
that is what i use on my Tyrant. and it does look sweet.
Aside from the near-worthlessness of the bone sword / lash whip combo, but that's another discussion. My personal preference is for scything talons and a venom cannon, giving your army something with a pretty good chance to glance vehicles, and a higher number of attacks capable of instakilling space marines at range.
i agree with you there poptart but i have the wonderful edge of two hivetyrants
so one has twin linked venom cannons with other has sything talons and twin linked devourers (take lots of shots them walk into whats left)
spambot kill tally: 79
[16:19] <@Alzer> Arky's right though
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> I know he is.
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> He usually is.
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> Sometimes it's intentional.
[00:01] <+zubus> i love you, ya skirt wearin nothern monkey! ^_^
if you keep your HT with in range of your gaunts you really dont need spend extra points on Init for your gaunts. catalyst is awesome. and the lash whip is good for giving mr. powerfist one less attack.Originally Posted by PoptartsNinja
I used Bone sword-lash whip comboything talons, and scything talons, it makes a great HQ hunter along with guards to make the enemy have -4 attacks. I also use warpblast over a venom cannon.
