Welcome to Librarium Online!
hey does anyone have suggestions for wings for tyranid warriors... dragon wings look way too big... can you maybe also provide a pic or a link to a pic of any warriors with wings
Furies or Gargoyles are probably the cheapest wings that fit well enough, but I dont have any pictures on hand to confirm that. And dont try to use Harpy wings... they are far to small to accomplish any good
you could use the wings from Gargoyles.
I've not seen it done, but it seems like they'd be closer to the right size.
Gargolyes do indeed work, but the Be'lakor deamon wings are even better, look at them in the bits order catalogue
I went with Gargoyle wings, they fit nicely into the ribs between the two arm sockets.
Gyauayuayuayua! Ja! Ve vill crush da little girly men in deir little girl men awrmor! Ve vill see owur enemies driven befowur us, und hear da lahmentaytions of deir wemen. Und from owur home planet, de stayte uf Califowurnia, ve vill lawunch owur mighty offensive. Even if you kill us, ve'll be bach!! Gyauayauyauyauyau!
-Arnoldunit Schwarzenecronegger; when questioned about the impending doom he would rain down upon the heads of his doomed enemies.
Be'lakor wings have chains and skulls and stuff all over them :-/Originally Posted by Wolf_Pack

Exactly, as this makes them ''veterans'' or espaced from imperial compounds, and helps to give more caracter to the fig.
so a veteran tyranid will have chains and skulls attached to its wings??Belaekor has great wings but i think you need to remove the skulls. But you will be best of getting some medium sized wings (gargoyles furies ...)The cheapest and they won't make you model look strange with wings 2times the size of itself.
I went with converted (heavily trimmed so as to have a narrow attachment point to the body) Terradon wings, but at five pounds a pair they're not cheap.
