Hey all, just wondering, when you guys decide to put certain upgrades on your unots (ExtC, Tox Sacs, AdrG etc...) do you actually show them on the model? because I know I should actually show them but I think the models won't look as good if I do :/.
So I just wanna see how many of you actually model your upgrades?
The rule for tournement is What YOu See Is What You Get
here are my nids
HT ext cat, toxin sacs, enhanced sense
warrior:ext car,enhanced sense,toxin sacs
Carnifex:There are so many possibilities
So if you add extra stuff it counts to. Im like 99.9999999979999% sure
In theory, according to GW. I don't do tournements. Luckily I live in a good sized city and there are a lot of opponents around to play. My standard is as long as the majority of the weapon fits in the unit are correct, then it's cool. I also make sure I tell my opponent about any bio morphs when I drop them on the table. I have never played anybody who takes issue with this way of doing things, (I also play with a fairly mature crowd). On the lower end I have played a Necron force that looked very green and toothy, for Nerons.Originally Posted by Catachan Devil

I put the upgrades on anything warrior sized or above. On the gaunts i just found putting toxin sacs on threm too fiddly and messy (plus im real good at clipping them off the sprue and losing them too), as long as i tell my opponents my hormies have toxin sacs, they dont seem to mind.
