If you could put any combination of exarch powers you wanted on an exarch regardless of legality what would you do? I would probably put sustained assault on a Scorpion Exarch with Scorpions Claw, any non-skimmer vehicle that stood still last round would be instantly annhilated.
I've thought of this beforeOriginally Posted by TheMusicOfCreation
scorpion exarch, crushing blow and burning fist.
s5 ignore armor re-roll failed to-wound.
and if burning fist can be combined with a biting blade, it would be an obscene character killer (ignore armor, re-roll failed to wound, roll to wound untill failure)
Jesus, if you added Sustained Assault too, that would be a ridiculous amount of wounds.
roll to hit untill you miss, re-roll failed to-wound, roll to wound untill you fail.
Sustained assault, suprise assault, with power blades! Charge with 6 attacks, attack untill you miss.
Defend+power fist, so you strike last anyways, but you're hit on 6's
Fast shot with a web of skulls
withdraw for Dire Avengers, so they can pop out of hth, fire their assault catapaults, and charge in again.
Dark Reaper with EML Tank Hunter and Fast Shot
and think of the joy if you could combine fast shot and crack shot! 2 plasma missiles that hit on 2+ and are guided, that have blast and ignore cover! those IG would truly respect the Dark Reapers then
SS exarch, sustained Assault, Crushing Blow, Scorp's Claw, AND Banshee mask...
Dreams give us a vision of a world unlike any we have seen. They present us with a glimpse of a better life; a goal to aspire to, and in the face of insurmountable odds, they provide us with the power to overcome, to live on, and to succeed where we would have otherwise failed.
the small blast marker is pretty weak now that you have to center it over a model. it requires the enemy to be deployed base to base to base to base to get anything more than 1 sure hit. almost always when I use blast weapons, I get 1 and a couple/few partials. I'd rather take a heavy 2 or 3 weapon since they typically have better str and ap than a blast wpnOriginally Posted by Da Mighty Camel

biting blade, burning fist, surprise assault, evade, defend, crushing blow, sustained assualt
Swooping hawk exarch with the same
We are already afraid of Dark Reapers without them being that Kraft-World Cheesy.and think of the joy if you could combine fast shot and crack shot! 2 plasma missiles that hit on 2+ and are guided, that have blast and ignore cover! those IG would truly respect the Dark Reapers then
haha that's good
I thought of that too. Imagine a scorpion exarch with powers from the dire avengers and the swooping hawks, with the following wargear:
Web of Sculls
Swooping Hawk Wings
And the following powers:
Now, so far he comes to 103 points. Thats ubalanced, but I think that paying the points for the DA exarch plus the hawk exarch on top of the scorpion exarch would even that out. The points for becoming a DA + hawk exarck comes to 59. Now, I give him a wound for every aspect he have been trained in. Imagine a guy with this wargear, these powers, and the statline of a scorpion exarch +2 wounds for the cost of 162 points. Now that is how I hope they make the new warrior HQ...
EDIT: It occured to me that 3 attacks/round would be a bit too few for a 162 point model. I think that 5 (1 standard + 1 for each time the guy have been trained as an exarch + 1 for the pistol) would be fair.
