Well then i just completly owned my friends tau army. 1500 points each and my army was around 1400. Well i have to say it took longer to set up then to play. I took out half his army in the first turn with some well lucky placed deep strikes. And some goos stratigies. Its all braging rights for me. Anyone else have short short games? Mine lasted 3....the last one was me taking out some stealth suits.
Deep Striking on the first turn? Check.
What seems to be a charge from a Deep Striking unit (Judging from the other post on the same subject)? Check.
Sounds to me like you didn't follow the rules correctly, and cheated your opponent. You don't start rolling for Deep Strikers until the second turn, and you're not allowed to assault the turn you Deep Strike in (Which is what it sounded like the case with the scarabs hitting the Hammerhead).
Could you clarify? Something doesn't add up right.
indeed. there seems to be a bit of rule bending going on.
