Welcome to Librarium Online!
This Codex involves three races (like armaggedon) but I thought you DE players should hear about it first (as DE are always left behind) and because DE are a large part of the book!
This is the first page. It isn't complete but hey, you can help with that. (I'll post the cover when I'm done)
Now, what I need is people to help with the fluff. All I need is short to medium (page/half-page) based on one or more of these armies.
Kabal of Steel: Unlike many Dark Eldar, the Kabal of Steel do not live on Commorragh. Instead, these twisted warriors live on an enormous Eldar craftworld pillaged centuries ago. The enormous wraithbone planet is said to exist in the webway, the chaotic songs of the webway tainting the already turtured wraithbone. The Kabal of steel are dangerously fast, even for dark eldar.
The Angels of Truth: Under the Command of Inquisitor Canton, the Angels of Truth (a sub-chapter of the Dark Angels) came to the dreaded Sector 025 to investigate reports of escalating raids by Eldar pirates. Canton, considered by many of his peers as a radical and a traitor had other motives. He wished to open communication with nearby Tau Forces. Unfortuanatly, Canton, like so many others before him, was caught in a terrible warp storm just as he entered the sector. Canton soon realized that the Imperium had no control over this sector and quickly spread his word. The word of the truth behind the Imperium, the word of Truth. The Angels of Truth are not Chaos, but do not believe in the Imperium. Tis however does not mean they don't believe in the Emporer, just that that beliee his will is not being served.
Fal'Shia Rebels: The Fal'Shia rebels came to Sector 025 to seek refuge after fleeing the Tau Empire. They believed in the greater good but not the forcefull tactics now being used. Like all Tau they believe in long range combat but, coming from sush a strong technological planet, they often carry more powerfull weaponry than most Tau.
Remember, you will get credit in the codex!

what type of fluff do you mean just random background we made up or like quotes we find scattered along the diffrent codexs?
Whitin???!? That's an interesting typo.
What exactly is the deal with this codex? I'd probably be interested in helping, but I'd need to know a good deal more about the Kabal of Steel before I could write anything.
Incidentally, Dark Eldar living outside the webway would age incredibly quickly. They'd need to have a large number of rapidly breeding slaves and a very small population in order to allow survival.
Idea: Call the world they live on a Slaveworld, and the Dark Eldar live in a small city (with very large walls). They have populated the world with millions of slaves who are forced to revert to a tribal civilisation, only praying that they do not get taken in the next raid. They may even worship the Dark Eldar as gods.
Anyway, I think more info will be necessary in order to write anything substantial.
Okay, I fixed the typo (thanks Jahannan) and will soon post page 2 (which inclides a more in-depth history of the three groups. If anyone can write a short qoute for the dark box on page one (To see examples of what those boxes are for, see the rulebook/codexs)
BTW, the Kabal of Steel Deathworld (their pillaged Creftworld) exists in the webway.
If anyone can write a fairly generic story (like you see in many codices) Concerning any conbination of these armies.
Also, anyone who thinks they have something to bring to the table feel free to post. I'm starting work on the special characters and may need some playtesters!
So any ideas, post em here or just PM me.
EDIT: done the title page

This is a very good idea i like it alot. To me it seems kind of strange that a space marine chapter who doesn't beleve in th imperium, would not be called chaos. Im sure back in the imperium they would be prodonced heritics. And im sure a chapter of SMs would not send 10 companies to investigate eldar pirates. Also wouldn't the chaplins of the angels of truth just kill Canton for being a heritic?
By day he fought with sword and shield.....
By night he fought with pen and parchment.....
He was....The Warrior Poet.......
Fear the ANZAC Clan!!!!!
ORDER OF THE SHADOWY FLAME!!!
Do you have uber micro...????
Yes, they are considered traitors but they do not worship chaos, they believe in the emporer. What they don't believe is that the Emporers true will is being served. They believe that those who lead in his place are abusing their power.Originally Posted by warrior poet
About the chaplians killing Canton: The Grand Master of the Chapter (no name yet, any suggestions?) is a life long friend of Canton. As well, he was present on the day of Revelation (sorry, can't give it all away yet ). Suffice to say that he, along with the rest of the Angels of Truth, trust Canton with their lives.
Also, ten companies were not sent (as you'll see after i post page two) but the gean-seed was aboard their fleet and in times of desperation, more marines were inducted from nearby planets. Hope that clears that up!

this is just a random activity for you right not anything that GW will publish?
no, nothing like that, but I will make the final pdf available to anyone (and will publish a copy for myself and my gaming group)
"that that beliee" is that a typo error? is it supposed to be "that believe" and "powerfull" isnt that spelt "powerful"? Also, another typo is "tis" is that supposed to be "this"
Another thing, for the Fal'Shia Rebels what is the more powerful weaponry going to be?
I think it is a good idea about the Sector 025 what about having another army like a stranded ork raiding party or a witch hunters army comming to kill the Angels of Truth for being herictics?
Anyway you are doing a good job.

Just what IS this Codex?
It sounds like something you are creating from scratch. . . . . . isn't this supposed to be published by GW???
