    back for more help

thanks everyone for the responces to my last post. anyway, does anyone know when/where warhammer 40k tournaments are held, if any? i heard from my friend a while back about there being like state, regional, national, and even world tournaments for warhammer 40k, is this true. and if so, where do i sign up? thanks for the tip about asking for rules and points, guess i'll have to go to the mall now. interesting theory on when the new ork codex is going to come out also, makes sense to me. guess that is all for now. i'm sure you'll all be hearing from me a lot. thanks in advance.

The very lowest tournaments can be found at your local hobby store, but are usually unofficial. To get into the official tournaments, try going to the closest Games Workshop store (which are often cursed with being far away from the actual customers,) and they should have an official tournament you can get into. The GW tournaments are always above JUST how well you fight, and grade your sportsmanship, painting quality, realism, and tactics. (AKA if you have an unpainted, poorly crafted army, completely unfluffy [ 500 grots and 3 basilisks, or 3 wraithlords, or 6 carnifexes, etc.], and you're a bad person, even if you win every game by a landslide, you might not win.)
