Those little plastic garbage cans that came with candy shaped like garbage are great for this. The only issue is the finnish needs to be roughed up first.

    Please, no!!!

I'm putting together my Lootas mob and have considered the following:

    1. If you want it to look "Kan" like, try a piece of plastic poly-pipe (around 1.5" dia). A local plumbing/hardware store might have offcuts.
    2. The back of the GW minis are basically flat so you can take any lump of rectangular material (layers of MDF board?) and add some curved bits of plastic to the front.
    3. Another option is "kit-bashing" an IG sentinal - the Catachan one would work well (chainsaw and flamer are handy). Add rough bits of armour plate to cover the body and cut legs to use the lower section. The uppper leg section is a good basis for arms with the chainsaw on the end. The flamer can be extended with some plastic rod and stuck to the side.

It doesn't have to look like the GW mini so theme it to the rest of your army.

    Hope that helps...

That looks a whole lot better than I expected! The legs look great with tracked feet. BTW thanks for the pics - it's great when you can actually see what people are working on.
