Wow. It was great. The daemonhunters were set up in the worst spots imaginable. Each army = 1000 points.

First turn, my Shas'o with Fusion gun destroys a landraider crusader, and the resulting explosion kills 2 terminators inside. Remaining terminators killed by either a D-gun, my FW's, or my Shas'o. Also Grand Inquisitor guy killed by 2 crisis suits with plasma guns. Dreadnought loses its autocannon, and inquisitorial storm trooper squad destroyed by a combination of stealthsuit fire, and howling banshees. Next turn, dreadnought stunned, team of grey knights decimated by 40 pulse rifle shots.

It was an excellent game all around (except for the Daemonhunters who were down to their busted dreadnought by the end of the second turn ). The IG was doing an excellent job of holding us back, but the greater good pulled through.

Yes, Tau can defeat space marines. I am living proof!

edit: I forgot. Memorable moment-

Enemy's turn 5, only scattered and battered squads of guardsmen remained. 2 imp guard charged a FW who was the only one left in his squad. One wound inflicted, passed save. Combat drawn, guardsmen fall back 3 inches, FW runs them both down.
That little ***** is getting a promotion.

Wow, now that sounds like team work right there. You must have played on a small map if your shas'o killed the land raider the first turn

We played this scenario where there was three zones. The objective was the defenders had to keep squads of 50% or above from entering the third zone.

There was the defenders zone, no man's land, and then the attacker's zone. The defenders were allowed to deploy all the way to the edge of no mans land at the border of the attackers zone so they could fight, fall-back to better cover, or whatever. But the daemonhunter obviously hadn't played Tau. She put ALL of her guys right at the border where there was no cover, and perfect LOS.

Awsome man, great job at killing those pesky imperials. Even if you people havent played tau they usually KNOW not to give us perfect los, but what ever.

They should know not to give any army perfect LOS. Even Orks and nids can lay down some firepower if you let em.

Obviously these Grey knight dogs trusted too heavily in their sacred armor, nice work cutting em down.

And, you definetely need to promote that FW, that's an awesome story.

You should write it up as a full battle rep if u have time.

You should post a pic of that firewarrior so we can all learn from his example.

Heck yeah they trusted their armor way too much spoiled little brats. You should make he write a battle report on her own loss. You should post a pic of that firewarrior so we can all learn from his example.
