Converting my Decapitator wasn't too hard. I had two mandrake models lying around, I cut the arms off one of them, and with a little glue and green stuff, added them just under the armpits of a mandrake i had with both arms raised up (a la Mortal Kombat's Goro).
Then I cut off one of his splinter pistols, and added a severed head I had lying around from a DE plastic sprue. Ta-da! A decapitator.
His performance however is a bit lacking. He has a decent number of attacks, but the only bonus in hth he really gets is his sub-rending style attack...which I don't think is worth it...plus in order to use him, you must take at least one squad of mandrakes, which doesn't justify using him (in my opinion). Mandrakes in general only work against certain opponents in certain scenariors, unless you use them en masse (3 full squads of 10).
Anyways, hope that helped a little ^_^
I converted him using a normal DE warrior. I took a normal helmet and sanded down the nose and top thing, leaving a fairly round head. I then used green stuff to sculp the nose of the helmet. Then I sanded the sounder pads of a DE body and attacked the four arms. I gave him a large fantasy choas axe, as well as various blades on all his hands. He looked pretty good. I should dig up my old photos of him...
yea his decapitator looks pretty good actually
its good to finally see a depacitator model
