Fire warriors x12
Fire Warriors x12
Chaos Captain (of some sort)
4 Squads of Berserkers (around 8 each I think)
1 Squad of Bikes (4)
Dreadnaught w/ 2 CC arms
Seek and Destroy (Gamma)
Terrain: Fairly open, half dozen pieces of well sized terrain spread evenly.
Top of 1: I got first turn, advanced the Fish foward either flanks. Ionhead (left flank) and Railhead (right flank) popped some marines, Stealths (left flank) jumped close enough fired and fell back.
Bottom of 1: Bikes turbo boosted on the left flank, Berserkers advanced, those that blood raged headed toward the Fish because they were the closest. Dreadnaugt got bogged in difficult terrain
Top of 2 + 3: Finished off the bikes, with a mix of Ion, stealths and Crisis fire. Rail continuned to drop templates on the advancing squads. Finished off the left flank Berserker squad.
Bottom 2 + 3: Berserkers chased down the Left and Right flank fish, failed to do anything serious. BIkes tried to get out fo sight, but were gunned down.
Rest of the Game: Dreadnaught emerged from cover and promply took a rail round to the chest (destroyed). Bersekers over take right flank, the railheads fall back towards the Stealth suits. Berserkers chase the crap out of both fish, doing exactly nothing to them. Two more Bersekers squads are destoryed including the HQ on the left.
Games ends with single squad of berserkers chasing the fish in the mid right edge. Everything else is dead.
Models lost: 0
Armor saves attempted: 0
Damage to vehicles: burst cannons on both fish lost
Shows what you can do to Khorne if you get them to chase the right targets. Also shows what a fully mechanized Tau force can do in smaller games. Berserkers never had anything to engage, so they could be shot at ever turn. My opponet was not new to the game, I'm not saying this to be prideful or anything, but I want to clarify that I was not beating up some noob, who had no idea how to play. It just was a bad match up on his part. Though part of me did want to scream "Flawless Victory!" when the games ended.
Who brings a Hammerhead to a 500 point fight?!

And people say that tau are weak...
Way to go! I hate khorne
Wake. Rise. Destroy. Conquer.
We have done so once. We will do so again.
Hmmmm, he doesn't seem to have thought out his list very well, the khorne guy. No anti tank stuff at all, not even a nasty prince of Bloodthirster to can opener them.
... only triumph could turn pooing his pants into a good thing..
Mech Tau has a huge advantage in the beginning against world eaters. Not that you didn't play brilliantly, you did, but not playing a list with decent anti tank, you had it in the bag.
I'm sure his world eaters would have kicked the crap out of any combat assault army, hopefully his game against you will balance his list a little more.
I'll post my weekend's battle of Mech Tau VS Black Templar soon...
Nice work! A flawless vicotry, in fact.

Did you do a Victory Dance? You deserve it.

The Khorne army listed there is poor and as its already been said, the lack of anti-tank things is slightly strange
