I was wondering what people preffered foot slogger DE warriors or raider squads?pls give convincing arguments.
Most balanced armies take a balance of both.
I find foot squads work better for me (just for me though) but 1 or 2 raider squads are always welcome, I figure that warriors aren't that good at combat with their 1 attack (for the moment) so wyches and the lord with his retinue should be the ones in raiders.
If you really want to know how many people take how much of which then it might be a good idea to take a look at the armylists in the appropriate forum so you can really see.

Back before the latest rules when skimmers blocked LOS I played an all raider force. (just check out my "children of murder" in my sig) but now that you can see threw them it is much harder to safely deliver my HQ and elite units into combat behind a wall of raiders.
Dark eldar seem to make an ideal counter attack force. With their high BS and the ability to field 2 heavy weapons in a foot unit you can pack enough firepower to deal some death. And with a few elites and your HQ hiding ready to strike you can counter attack any assault force your enemy might try to throw at you.
Its your usual bait ans switch. bait them with some warriors, and counter assault with your elite.
But about your question I would normally field an even mix of foot troops and raiders now. 3 15 man foot units with 2 lances, and 3 raider squads with cannons and blasters.
if you give the raider squads assault weapons they're really effective as they can shoot if the raider doesn't move too far. Personally i take 10 man squads (on foot) with 2 hvy weapons (dark lances normally) to take out tanks only 100pts a go they're really handy. Or with splinter cannons against horde armies - 'nids, imperial guard or eldar normally as the spl cannon ignores most of their armr saves and has gott a lot of shots.
