Welcome to Librarium Online!
I need stratergies, not critism, I have 20 that I got cheap online so I have them. I want to effectivity use them so tell me some ideas.
Sacrificial "First Wave" - use them akin to fast-moving 'Gaunts to get them into CC in a hurry and block line of sight to your other units.
Tank Hunting - Gargoyles can glance AV 10 (back armour) on most vehicles, and are fast enough to actively hunt them down.
Infiltrator Hunting - Gargoyles are fast enough and numerous enough to manage enemy infiltrators so that your army can bypass them and go for the jucier targets.
Thank you. I like the last one and the first ones.
You should use them to divert enemy fire from slower troops. That way, you will have more strong attacks.
Forgot to mention, if you're going to deep strike the Gargoyles, use them as tank hunters (and deep strike accordingly). Some surprise shots against back armour can really scare tank-reliant armies, even if you don't glance with a single shot.Originally Posted by LictorInTheGrass
Or just deep strike them in behind your opponent as a distraction, (fewer things shooting at your 'stealers and hormies).

It doesn't work on vehicles.Originally Posted by LictorInTheGrass
If you play with Deep Strike, ds them and attack heavy weapons (as anyone would). But, dsing isn't always good, as they can't go into cover, and will be shot up if they're in the open. If theres no ds, charge towards their front line and tie them up. With a Ld of 10, they won't break easily, and with 3 attacks each (on the charge + bioplasma), they'll do well. Thats why I like gargoyles - they're fast and deadly

Gargoyles are also good for attacking the flanks of an army, they have the speed and numbers to do this.
