Welcome to Librarium Online!
Im a new Eldar player and I was wondering what your favorite craftworld? And what tactics do you use for them? Do you have any special units that you use with them in conjuntion with the obvious special units of a craftworld (ex: Altatioc: Rangers and "hit and run" Vyper)? All posts welcome!
My favourite craftworld is Ulthwé, because I play them. I like their all dark and broody fluff, and that they are on guard against the chaos forces in the Eye of terror.
My tactics for Ulthwé are generally that I keep moving around and keep shooting, mobile firepower is the thing for me.
For which purpose did you create this thread, are you really new to playing Eldar and need to decide on which craftworld you want?
Warhammer Fantasy: Warriors of Chaos, High Elves
Warhammer 40k: Eldar, Space Marines, Orks
My Eldar army only has a warlock at the moment but my favourite craftworld is Saim-Hann fow which I wrote some fluff for a windhost called Orro-Khaine. Because I haven't played with Eldar before I have no tactics.
If your done first, you're the winner.
My favorite craftworld is Biel-tan. I love the variety and the speed of the aspect warrior rush...
You have just recieved the Amish Computer Virus. Since the Amish don't have computers, it is based on the honor system. So please delete all the files from your computer. Thank you for you cooperation.

I like Alaitoc better than any other. Snipers are cool, and dispite being few in numbers, we are rarely outnumbered, thanks to the wonderous disruption roll. I also like the fact, that neither the fluff or the army list forces me to use units that I dont like, every other craftworld exept saim-hann does that. Oh, and alaitoc gets the best infantry unit in the whole game.. The pathfinder! w00t!
Iyanden is my favorite Craftworld. They have the most compelling story, in my opinion: once the largest, mightiest, and proudest of the Craftworlds, struck down by the Tyranid Hivefleet, reduced to twenty percent of their number and being forced to bolster their meager forces with their own dead.
The shame of enslaving their dead, the sorrow of their loss, and their need to survive, all add up to an army that fights with a relentless, desperate fury. Moreso than the more populated Craftworlds, if a hundred billion humans die so that ten Eldar lives are saved, the Iyanden think that is a perfectly justifiable bargain.

Who doesent? In fact, I cant think of anyone who gives a damn about human existance other than humans themselves, and even then it doesent seem to be that important to them. To an any eldar, the survival of even one of their own kin is more important than the life of any other intelligent life forms in the galaxy. Thats why I fell in love with the eldar in the first place... They have their priorities straight.Originally Posted by Quickasawink
Although my Saim-Hann army is still only in the planning stages, I'd have to say it is my favourite Craftworld. Everything about this Craftworld appeals to me: colours, fluff, models and style. They've got a lot going for them including being a unique army and that they really scream "Eldar" - Jetbikes are such elegant models, they really belong in the Eldar army. Saim-Hann also provides a suitable challenge both to play against and to play with which ought to make gaming a lot more fun.
You cannot win, for to fight us is to give us power.
My fave and the one I play is Biel Tan. My favorite part of the Eldar is the aspect warriors so it was a natural choice. Second is probably USF because of the cool options they get.
