Welcome to Librarium Online!
well, once again, there is no "better" or "worse." It all depends on your style of play and the situation you are in.
When I personally play, I use the warriors to sit in the back of the battlefield and snipe the enemy's tanks off one at a time. Sticking em' on a raider, on the otherhand, can be a far better option against other armies.
Their main advantages are the ability to have up to 4 special/heavy weapons in a single squad, their high WS and BS (for a basic soldier), and their way above average initiative (they strike before almost everything else in the game). Their armor leaves a bit to be desired, but for only 2 points more than a guardsman, you get a pretty nice package

You forgot the awesome choice of using them as foot sloggers of getting a transport out of them that has an additional dark lance, and the ability to fleet of foot!!!
I think they are the best cheap troops in the game.
my favourites, the no-brainer choice.
so versitile its amazing. awesome stats for a mere 8pts. lots of options.
i dont even bother with wyches... warriors may not be better in HtH but there sure is more of them, they are deadly and they are useful when shooting as well.

As many regulars of this forum will have noted I have just reappeared again after another month and a half long absence. I have been working on tidying up and codifying the Dark Eldar tactica that has been being worked on for some time now and will have it up by the end of december (I think) all neat and tidy to answer all these sorts of questions, currently mostly concentrating on my final year university project though (archaeal polymerases for anyone whos interested) so it might take a lttle longer.
In answer to the question, the advantages of the dark eldar warrior are high stats at a low points cost, they are equivalent to a basic aspect warrior without the high points cost and have the advantage of being able to be adapted as either a ranged anti tank or close assault unit. Both raider squads and warrior squads have their place and are highly useful, the drawback of botha nd indeed of the entrie dark eldar force however is the low survivability agaisnt fire, this is somewhat made up for by their numbers and speed however, I would advocate using foot squads of 15-20 as assault units with raider squads of 10 to assisst, raider squads of 5 with guns mak good mobile shooters, small 10 man warrior squads on foot make excellent stationary shooters, all you need to change is the weapon loadout.
Hope that was helpful gotta go.
