Maybe this has all ready been asked and I think I read it somewhere but I am not sure.
If Baharoth is taken alone he can use his grenade pack blast when he deep strikes even if he is not with a squad right?
I have not taken him yet but if I do I want him seperate from my hawk squad so that will mean I will get a blast marker from his grenade pack and 1 for my squad.
Does this sound right?
If you deep strike him separately from the squad, you will get two grenade back blasts.Originally Posted by designer891

Thanks, was this written somewhere in the codex by any chance? Just incase someone asks, or is it under the hawk greanade pack rules? I don't have my codex with me right now
Yep, I did that once, it was labled as cheese when my 3 squads of hawks and baharoth all deepstuck in on turn 3 at the same time and aniahlated averyone with 4 large blasts and then proceded the exarch delivery system everyone to death. It probably was cheesy though when I could have just attatched Baharoth to a squad, apparently I was min maxing...... meh...... I probably was.

Since Baharoth is an indepentent character and also an HQ choice, they are different units and must deep strike seperately. It has nothing to do with cheese, the rules say you have to anyway.
