    Warp Spider Conversions

Now, most of you experienced players, converters and painters or people who have been in the hobby for a while have probably seen these but this is for those that haven't so yeah.

    http://gt.us.games-workshop.com/Resu...sca_warp_c.gif

Gosh! Their Amazing! I am going to try do do some of these too using guardian models, with warp spider backpacks, cut half the shuriken catapult off and stick lots of the exarch's guns onto the catapults to make deathspinners, I think thats what this guy did. Oh yeah, and lots of greenstuff.

If this belongs in the conversion forum or something then can a mod please move it, its just here because I'd like all the eldar playes to see this.

Those are just amazing... they must require a lot of skill and patience, make sure you have a set plan and think through everything carefully in advance. Good luck!

You should post this in the conversion forum as well.

You might have trouble separating the back pack from the body, maybe he used the back pack you get with the Exarch for those conversions? not cheap though, since you still need the weapon barrels from the normal spiders...

All the gun stocks are fusion guns, barrels from the original Warp Spiders, One arm is a powerist from storm squad pack, pointing finger from farseer or dire avenger exarch,

My guess would be 5 exarch models, cut the powerblades off for the face pieces, backpack is a simple glue and go, double death spinners give you plenty of guns.

Yes, but the barrels on the Exarch's weapons aren't that big are they? Don't they look like the ones from the normal Warp Spiders?

Edit: By the way, they're not. I agree with Tarzen.

Just cuz I've converted a few spiders and exarchs back in the day=). Wish they'd make a plastic aspect set.

10 bodies, possable arms and legs, 9 heads from scorps, banshee, dire avenger (dragons can use the same), and weapon spree.

They're interesting coversions, but I actually don't like them. They don't look bulky enough to be warp spiders to me.

    The poses are awesome though.

That'd be nice, but I don't see it happening quite so conveniently.
We'll probably get plastics for the more popular and more numerous Aspects. (Scorpions, Banshees, Avengers)
The lesser used, or just not as numerous Aspects, like Dark Reapers, will probably remain metal.

I think most of the Eldar list will stay metal. Though you can't convert them as easily, you can always get a lot more detail in a pewter rubber-cast figure than in an extrusion-molded plastic piece.
