Just wanted opinions on my Carnifexes, this is what I fit them standard, before I apply weapons or biomorphs for their specific task. Ie. Enhanced Sences for a shooy Carnifex and so on...
Here's how their feiled..
Adrenal Glands (both), Bonded Exoskeleton, Extended Carpace, Flesh Hooks, Regenerate, Reinforced Chitin, Tusked.
Then I would go on to add weapons and ckose more upgrades based on those weapons. The idea is for me to have very powerful Carnifexes that are hard to take down, what do you's think?
It's true it would be extremely hard to take down. seeing that it will probably a wulti-puropse fex then it should be ok, but generally sticking to one roles i.e. cc or shooting, is best. And keeping it cheap would also be benificial. You could get two descent fex's for a little extra then the one you're putting together, but the problem is that you need top buy another one. It comes down to your opinion really, it's really up to you. Do what you want with it,
Yeah after the Carnifex above I'de add Crushing Claws ans Sything Talond and CCBiomorphes or a Vemmon cannon and Sything Talong with Enhanced Sences.
I think what he meant was, why give both AG's and Tusked to your ranged attack fex? They should be avoiding assault, which would waste 20 points... which could give another genestealer, 2 horm's, or 4 spine gaunts.
Please try to read and post in the correct forums, this is the armylist section, not the tyranid disussion.
Could any mod be kind enough to move this topic.
