I need a little help getting the Tau Firewarrior plastic sprue worked out. There's the Head/Toros/Leg sprue, which is easy enough, but when I saw the arm and weapon sprue, I got a little confused. First of all, I know that the arm and the weapon being held by it are right across from each other on the sprue. No worries there. The problem comes when they pair up the grenade/tracker thing arms with their weapon arms. If you look at the sprue (it's on GW's site), you'll see a grenade arm and tracker thingy arm. Left of them is a carbine for which I cannot find an arm for. Does it go with the tracker thingy and grenade? Also, across from the grenade and tracker arm, there are two other arms, one with a rifle and the other with a carbine(For reference, there's a lone rifle and carbine on either side.) Do they go with the grenade and tracker arms, too? I know all this is a little confusing and a lot to ask at once, but this was a problem the first time I built a Tau army and that was a disasterpiece. Any help is appreciated, as always.
Turbo Charger +25 pts. Assault 3Notes: XV8's equipped with turbocharger may move 24" during the movemt phase and are totally able to delete any stupid Space Wolves they come across, because they looked at me wrong.
If you look on the sprues you will see pulse rifles and carbines with a hand molded to the forend of the gun, these are the guns you use when creating a fire warrior posed firing his gun (i/e two handed grip on the gun).Originally Posted by HammerheadKid
You will also see some of the guns are just molded with the arm holding the pistol grip of the pulse rifle/carbine(usually the right arm I think), these are the gun arms you use when paired with a grenade or the v shaped scanner gadget.
I usually have the FW holding the gun with the barrel/muzzle pointing upwards and the scanner in the other hand, you can also pose the FW kneeling with the gun in one hand pointing parallel to the ground and scanner in the other, a nice pose is the gun pointing upwards and the FW throwing a grenade.
Hope this helps fella
