I'm very curious as to what other players do to represent hive tyrant wings. Is there a blitz part thats appropriate, or do people do more homemade stuff? Some help would really be appreciated.

i find blood thirster wings look the best, but they are more expensive

I need some help with that one too. I was going to use three or four scything talons (big ones), you know, the old ones without the spiky stuff on the rim of the talon. Yeah, four of them per wing, with green stuff between them. That's a lot of green stuff!!! Or, you could go to the Toys Dept. and buy some dragon toy - not only do you get wings, but you could use the claws, and tail, and head for other things....Oooooo!

I used Two XL (from carnifex) and one L (from tyrant) scything talon on each wing and used a thermoset plastic (cheap) for the webbing and some putty for the connective tissue look. It ended up looking alright, and a bit better than dragon wings. I posted two pics in the gallery to check out.
Cool tyrant, Marvus. I thought the dragon wings would look retarded on the new tyrant but I was quite wrong.
Mine is the classic type - old style tyrant with the same wings. Warning: the images below are at a higher resolution than your mom, and I am far too lazy to actually change that.
I used to be all proud of it but now that I look at the pictures... lol. Maybe after I retrieve it I will refurbish it before it comes out of retirement. Still, even in that state it is reasonably terrifying to opponents.
