Is the Ork Squiggoth (not the huge one, the 'normal' sized one) from Forge World in the 2005 IA update worth the $132.48 of the exchange rate?
I'm thinking of asking for it for christmas becuasemy parents are starting to bug for what I want, I just dont want them to go to all the trouble of ordering it and getting it here if its not that useful or impossable to put together (becuase frankly I suck at putting complex models together, and painting them).
Personally I'd ask for muchos normal models instead, if you want £132 of warhammer You coudl probably get more satisfaction from converting your own- ask for a toy dinosaur and record their reaction
I agree. Get a toy elephant or something and hook it up. Use the remaining hundred bucks for da boyz (I never seem to have enough)

its cool but it isnt fearless s if you get dealt three wounds in one turn you have a 50% chanceofrunning off the table.
It ain't fearless while at the same time it's a MC, so it is fearless.Originally Posted by Mcdohl
The Squiggoth is fearless. At least according to the Feral Ork rules. The only thing its leadership would be used for (that I can think of) would be special rules, like Mind War, or other such nonsense.Originally Posted by Mcdohl

I love teh model and the rules are pretty nice, I plan to get one myself.
Anyway as far as the IA rules are concerned it aint fearless but it is a MC.
I would suggest using a kannon on it so it can multirole and to keep it cheapish.

If he is talking about the IA squiggoth then it isn't fearless, but if he is talking about the Feral Ork squiggoth then it is fearless. It all depends on which squiggoth that he talking about.
i had a friend get the gargantuan one from forge world and it was like 5 peices but i told him to convert his own as i have done using a basilisk 2 leman russ tanks 2 killa kans 1 dread and some war truks not to mention a toy dinosaur ^ ^
Toy dinosaurs seem to be the essence of the Ork Squiggoth... XD
