    Codex

Will Harlequins ever have their own codex? I'm sick of using the printed crumpled up sheets that I have, I heard rumours that they will be included in the new Eldar codex.

In an event at the begining of the year, at one of the presentations, GW stated that at that point Codex Eldar include Harleqins, Exodites and DA, however they also stated that it was very likely that some or all of these would get dropped as the codex was at a very early stage and as they added detail to codecies they tended to drop the more bizzare stuff out. I seriously doubt Harleys will make the final cut
Everything you have been told is a lie!

I beg to differ, Harlequins are very VERY popular and GW is after the green. The other clue is the new collectors catalogue where Harlequin prices have DROPPED. Which makes me think they are producing new modern models *drools* Plus with the fact that the Journal harlequin rules have been revised many, many times gives them a very good start on making a well balanced pure melee army and I'm sure they have noticed that it caught a few gamers / hobbiest eyes. I know atleast 5 people that own a harlequin army and actually play them on a bi weekly basis with the Journal rules or are spending about 5-10 hours a model trying to make them perfect to their best standard *Raises hand*. I know I am VERY excited about even rumors that Harlequins may come out... I hope they are ran like Daemonhunters.

Exodites, however, probably won't make the cut. No one is really interested in the most sophisticated race riding on raptors

Thank you...finally some people who agree Exodites are a silly silly thing. People didn't like me telling them if u want eldar that ride dinos and chuck spears..play a high elf fantasy army.

Who wants to play against that in the world of 40k? Like danceman said kroot have the dino side of things covered.

Yeah I think they will be in the new codex, my harles always turn peoples heads and a lot of people still like them. And wont be hard to make balanced with a little work.

I hope they bring back the grenade launcher backpacks...seems like 50% of my harles have that...back when they were psychic and called warlocks.

Not all exodites ride dinosaurs and chuck spears.

Alot of them are just down to earth farmers. All you have to do to qualify for exodite-dom is be an eldar colony thats separated from the craftworlds.

I also seriously doubt that the Harlequins will be in Codex: Eldar, especially since they dropped DE from the codex. Maybe they might get a chapter approved article to be taken as allies.
