Don't post here if you're just gonna do that. To beat us, simply take out units one at a time, focusing overwhelming force on one unit, then move on. Prioritize targetting, and don't expose your best troops to fire from Monoliths and Immortals.

umm yea I agree with whatever Deciever has said. We, Necrons, may be hard to beat to some of you all you need is patience...phase out rule is your best friend against Necrons...as well as Power wpns, str10 AP1 shots (or somewhere around there) and long range kick @$$ wpns!!

Dont know, but anyway the way to beat necrons if pretty straight forward since you are IG just fire the battle cannons and earthshakers on our warriors since the strengh 8 gives us no wbb rule and as for everything else just just put as many flashlights on them as you can

    By the way flashlights=lasguns

I agree comepletely on the Phase Out. Focusing your fire on one squad of warriors and then going form there. the easiest unit to kill is the warrior. They are the backbone of any Phase Out number.

Yeah just focus on the warriors, i have an eldar army and i have alot of starcannons, they are devastating weapons against necrons, just focus as much fire power on one squad at a time, or if you have close range fighters, get power weapons and power/chain fists.

it is a good idea to pick off the basic warriors...but it can be kinda hard to do this if your opponent clumps them all as close to their lord(s) as possible. The necrons are incredibly tough to take down, i meant sometimes i gotta knock one down 3 times with a dark lance before he finaly decides not to get back up for more. The biggest disadvantage to the necron is their lack of customizability. There are basically no options for any units aside from the lords. either shoot at em from VERY long range, or blitz em in combat.

    "Focus S10 AP 1 shots"...

Ha! What wouldn't that work on? That's a Tau-only weapon, anyway...

The best way to krump necrons is to get something, anything into close combat with them... not to kill them, but to tie them up and block firing lanes... ogryn squads, gaunts, mobz of boyz, assault marines...

You'll get countercharged, for sure, but while they're distracted, and their primary strength is mitigated, (medium range firepower), you can hit them with more powerful, specialized cc troops, (dudes with powerweapons, indirect artillary, monstrous creatures, etc). A squad of terminators is positively deadly against them, (or rending claw warriors, or sisters repentia, or whatever you've got that kicks cc tail).

Trying to outshoot necrons is either impossible (because of their resilience) or impractical, (who's got that many heavy/special weapons, besides a min-maxing ironwarriors or SMurf player?). Obviously you guard players with 3 indirect pie-plates will be able to do some damage, but make sure to follow the advice above, (i.e. three bassies at the same squad, not 3 different ones).

As a bug player, I like to hit their front lines with a big, cheap swarm of leaping gaunts, with leaping warriors just behind for synapse. The second wave of warriors and flying tyrants is what finishes them off. Of course, YMMV.
