Any one got any necron related ideas for campaigns? or any ideas for sceneros? the only thing i got thatwas any help was the tomb world terrain chart.
Well let's see.
Rise of the C'tan ; Necrons fight several missions securing important worlds/ Talismans of Vaul so that the C'tan can emerge once again to conquer the universe - SMurfs and other races unite to stop them. You could even convert the outsider/Void Dragon for use in the Last mission, lots of Armies Vs lots of Necrons lead by a C'tan , or even all the C'tan without an army, Vs all the other armies united.
Tomb Protection( ; Many races have become aware that with the Necron threat, also comes Necron gifts. Races are trying to raid ancient Necron stasis tombs to unlock the power of the C'tan for their own uses, the Necrons protect/retaliate to this, attempting to secure and reawaken ( for more reinforcements in future missions) some tomb worlds.
Domination:yes: ; All the Necrons have awoken! "Their number is Legion, their name is Death." One by one the Necron army attempts to enslave all the known races, all those such as tyranids, which are unable to comply, are terminated. 5 Missions for each race, maximum no. of races 10 ( space marines are assumed to ally together, as will chaos marines, all forms of eldar, etc. as they are brought together by the fact that the Necrons will affect them all) each mission will affect the next, Necron win results in 10% of the enemies points ( troops only) joining the Necron force as slaves, losses will results in that 10% joining the defending army in the next mission. The last mission will be based around a last stand of the 10 races involved, Vs. a legion themed army ( immortals + res orb + warriors + monolith (monolie? plural?) ).
Hope these ideas helped/entertained
You know what would be cool? A simple map campaign where you have a continent/world with a Necron Tomb at one end and a hive world at the other. The defender (not necron) would have fewer troops to start but could produce more over time, depending on how much territory they can hold. Necrons would have loads of troops all flowing out from the Tomb but can only produce more slowly, at a constant rate. That way there would be pressure on both sides to capture and hold terrain, manage forces and manuever wisely. Just of the top of my head...
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
