ok, ive been playing 40k for quite some time now and ive been thinking about starting a saim-hann army. Im thinkin about doing one simply for enjoyment because they're so fast.
So basically if there are any saim-hann players could you post some tactica?
SOmetime soon im going to borrow the eldar codex and create a list and run it through here 4 review.
Basic ideas right now.... aimin for about 2000pts
If i take baharroth, i think a squad of hawks would be nice, with exarch skills and haywires to fill AT. If not, maybe spiders or banshees but this is less fluffy.
Hmmm, probably 20-40 guardians massed on foot with conceal or enhance. i do not doubt their power when firing then assaulting especially combined with guide and enhance
maybe around 6 jetbikes 2 cannons. warlock with enhance and singing spear
4+ Vypers with starcannons
Falcon. since their can only be one tank might as well make it "uber." star cannon, CTM, stones, holo-field.
There are Saim Hann players out here, and the work on tactica is in here:

Everything you have been told is a lie!
I play Saim-Hann, and can give you some quick & short tips.
Put (Storm) Guardians in Wave Serpents, they can get to combat quicker. Give them plasma grenades and Enhance.
Put long-ranged multi-shot weapons (i.e. starcannons) on Vypers, they're only BS3 and quite weak. Use them together to concentrate fire. Double shuriken cannons is also popular.
Pimped-out Falcons are the best tanks in the game.
Having more jetbikes than Vypers will score points in the "fluffy" department, but bear in mind that while Vypers rock, jetbikes do not.
If you do not move over 6" with all of your skimmers & jetbikes in a turn, you are doing something wrong.
It's pronounced "Sam-Hine".
I tend to field jetbikes in units of 7: six Guardians to maximise the shuri-cannons, and one Warlock for Embolden or Enhance. I say "tend to", but I raelly mean "intend to", since I don't actually have any yet.

All the old Specialist Games resources are currently being uploaded at the Tactical Command forums, and you can find them here: http://www.sg.tacticalwargames.net/fanatic/.
